Out of the Crayons of Babes
Christmas approached, a Sunday school teacher asked the children in her class to draw pictures of the Nativity scene. The children eagerly began to draw pictures of the stable, Mary, and Joseph, Baby Jesus, the shepherds, the wise men, and animals. She noticed that little Johnny had drawn all the usual characters, but his picture had an additional one. Pointing to a very large man sitting in the corner of the stable, the teacher said, “Johnny, your picture is very nice, but who is that man sitting in the back of the stable?” “Oh,” Johnny replied proudly, “that’s Round John Virgin.”

Christmas is just plain weird. What other time of the year do you sit in front of a dead tree in your living room eating candy and snacks out of your socks?
