The Mission of Liguori Publications and Liguorian
Liguori Publications, a Roman Catholic company, furthers the mission of the Redemptorists founded in 1732 by Saint Alphonsus Liguori whose mission is to spread the Gospel to the poor and most abandoned by providing resources and fostering community to accompany the people of God in their anxious questions, to satisfy their spiritual hunger, and to ignite the joy of knowing the Redeemer.
Liguorian, as a centennial publication, works to further this mission by conveying a consistently joyful message of God’s plentiful redemption. It communicates timely pastoral messages on matters of the Catholic faith, practices, Christian living, and social justice.
The Reality of the Catholic Community
It is no secret that publishing, in general, is being economically challenged; however, Liguori continues to strive to find cost-effective ways to fulfill the spiritual needs of the faith community—including “Fallen-Away” Catholics and those no longer engaged with the Church—Liguorian is an example of a solution.
We Can Work Together
In the spirit of St. Alphonsus Liguori (Founder of the Redemptorists), please help us continue our efforts to sustain the Redemptorists’ mission of reaching the poor and abandoned and be a reliable and affordable resource to individuals and their families. Your donation helps Liguori Publications promulgate this mission and continue to offer solutions.
